摘要 饱和与回退功率下高效率Doherty功率放大器(DPA)是无线通信系统中射频前端的重要电路。提高DPA效率对于降低移动通信能耗和提高通信系统性能有重要意义。通过将高效率F类功率放大器理论与Doherty结构相结合,采用谐波控制技术提高功率放大器的漏极效率和输出功率。设计一款工作频带为1.7~1.9 GHz的F类Doherty功率放大器,测试结果表明,其饱和输出功率大于43 dBm,平均漏极效率超过70%,回退6 dB时的平均漏极效率大于50%。该DPA设计方法可用于现代无线通信系统中的射频前端设计,也可用于实验教学。 A design method of high-efficiency Doherty power amplifier(DPA)under saturation and back-off power is proposed.DPA is an important circuit of the radio frequency front terminal in wireless communication systems.Improving the efficiency of DPA is of great significance for reducing mobile communication energy consumption and improving communication system performance.By combining the theory of high-efficiency class-F power amplifier with Doherty structure,the harmonic control technology is used to improve the drain efficiency and output power of the power amplifier.A class-F Doherty power amplifier with a working frequency band of 1.7~1.9 GHz is designed.The test results show that its saturated output power is greater than 43 dBm,the average drain efficiency is greater than 70%,and the average drain efficiency is greater than 50%when the back-off is 6 dB.The DPA design method can be used in the design of radio frequency front-end in modern wireless communication systems,as well as in experimental teaching.
