On Integrating Chinese Culture into English Teaching from the Perspective of Output-Driven Theory

摘要 英语语言作为一种沟通的桥梁和媒介凸显了重要性。英语教学由于中西文化的差异性及传统教学观念的影响,实质作用相对薄弱。将英语教学融入中国文化的研究作为合理可行的变革方式是必然。通过比较中西语言文化的差异,分析英语翻译教学模式的现状,设计中国文化融入外语教学中的方法,提高学生的英语综合能力,使其更好地适应社会发展的要求。 As a bridge and medium of communication,English language shows its unique importance under the trend of globalization;however,English teaching doesn’t have strong practical function due to the diff erences between Chinese and Western cultures and the infl uence of traditional teaching concepts.Therefore,it is an inevitable trend to integrate Chinese culture into English teaching,which is viewed as a reasonable and feasible way of teaching reform.By comparing the diff erences between Chinese and Western languages and cultures,this paper analyzes the current situation of English translation teaching mode,and puts forward some ways of integrating Chinese culture into foreign language teaching.It is hopeful that the suggestions can improve students comprehensive English ability and make them better adapt to the requirements of social development.
