In this paper,the development of British underwater nuclear power is systematically reviewed,the technical characteristics of reactors of different times are analyzed,the characteristics of British nuclear power technology development are summarized,and the future development trend of British underwater nuclear power technology is forecasted.In the development of British underwater nuclear power,scientific research forces are concentrated,the technical route is clear,and cautious development is adopted to steadily improve the parameters such as reactor power,refueling cycle,and natural circulation capacity,which can provide reference for researchers and designers of underwater nuclear power technology in China.
