This paper summarizes Professor LYU Zhiping’s experience in the prevention and treatment of hepatobiliary diseases under the guidance of the academic viewpoint of“regulating liver and calming five Zang organs”.It comprehensively discusses the theoretical origin of“soothing the liver,strengthening the spleen and regulating Qi”of hepatobiliary diseases,deeply analyzes the transmission and prevention thought of liver disease transmitting the spleen and enriching the spleen first,and expounds the pathogenesis characteristics of liver and biliary diseases,as well as the syndrome evolution law of liver and spleen diseases with liver disease transmitting the spleen from excess to deficiency and mixed deficiency and excess.The characteristics and practical experience of Professor LYU Zhiping in the treatment of common hepatobiliary diseases are analyzed in detail.
