摘要
“末日想象”的概念来源于基督教传统。梁启超的《世界末日记》是一篇以科学和宗教为载体的翻译小说,文本在世纪末的颓废情绪和末日想象下剥离了原著的基督教思想和天文学的科学精神,融入了梁启超个人的佛学观念和流亡域外的时代境遇,影响了晚清末日想象文学的书写。通过追溯《世界末日记》在不同刊物上的转载及传播情况、分析《世界末日记》在晚清社会的传播所形成的末日想象思潮,来阐释近代中日文化交流视域下末日书写与晚清佛学思潮之间的关系。
The concept of“Doomsday Imagination”originated from the Christian tradition.Liang Qichao’s Doomsday Diary is a translated novel based on science and religion.In the decadent mood and doomsday imagination at the end of 19 th century,the text stripped out the original Christian thought and the scientific spirit of astronomy,and integrated Liang Qichao’s personal Buddhist concepts and his circumstances in exile,and influenced the writing of the doomsday imagination literature in the late Qing Dynasty.By tracing the republishing and dissemination of the Diary in different journals and analyzing the thought trend of the end of the world in the late Qing dynasty,the relationship between the writing of the end of the world and the thought trend of Buddhism stimulated by it in the late Qing Dynasty,this paper attempts to explain the relationship between doomsday writing and Buddhism in late Qing Dynasty from the perspective of Sino-Japanese cultural exchanges in modern times.
