FOUR DIMENSIONS IN THE PATRIOTISM CULTIVATION OF COLLEGE STUDENTS IN THE NEW ERA

爱国主义是中华民族精神的核心,是中华民族团结奋斗、自强不息的精神纽带,是实现中华民族伟大复兴的力量源泉。厚植新时代大学生爱国主义情怀,可以从4个维度加以把握:就提升主体自觉而言,大学生要坚定理想信念、增强情感认同、锻造过硬本领;就重视家风建设而言,要强化家长的榜样示范作用、营造和谐的家庭环境、传承优秀的家庭文化;就强化学校教育而言,要以社会主义核心价值观为中心引领爱国主义教育、以“四史”教育为落脚点加强爱国主义教育、以国防教育为基础提升爱国主义教育;就营造社会氛围而言,要以夯实实践活动来坚定大学生爱国主义信念、营造清朗网络空间来涵育大学生爱国主义情怀、强化法治保障来规范大学生爱国主义言行。

Patriotism is the core of the Chinese national spirit.It is the spiritual bond of the Chinese nation to unite and strive for self-improvement,and the source of strength for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.There are four dimensions to cultivate the patriotism of college students in the New Era.From the perspective of subject consciousness,college students must adhere to firm ideals and convictions,strengthen emotional identification and forge excellent skills.From the perspective of the construction of family value,it is necessary to stress the role model of parents,nurture a good family environment,and inherit a good family tradition.From the perspective of school education,it is critical to use core socialist values to guide patriotism education,promote the learning of the histories of the Communist Party of China,the People′s Republic of China,the reform and opening-up,and socialist development to strengthen patriotism education,and take national defence security education as the foundation to carry out patriotism education.From the perspective of the social atmosphere,it is necessary to cultivate college students′patriotism through practical activities,to create a healthy cyberspace for college students′patriotic behavior,and to strengthen the rule of law to regulate college students′patriotic deeds.
