In the context of the Internet era,the increase of information transmission channels is changing the habit of the public to obtain information.The fierce competition among various media has brought severe challenges to the traditional TV media industry.For TV editors,if they want to strengthen the influence of TV news programs,they must deeply tap the value of news and improve their editing ability.Therefore,this paper analyzes the meaning and characteristics of news value,and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures to improve TV news editing ability and news value,so as to provide help for the development of China's traditional TV media industry.
