To investigate the effects of fertilization method, slope position and fertilization content on the growth of fast-growing Eucalyptus urophylla, and to determine the optimal fertilization program of fast-growing Eucalyptus urophylla,so as to provide theoretical basis for forest ecological prevention and social and economic development. This study was conducted in the state-owned Luojingzhang Forest Farm in Shanwei City in 2016.The growth characteristics of Eucalyptus grandis under different fertilization methods were investigated by using three factors and three levels random block test of ascending slope, middle slope and descending slope according to no fertilization, basal fertilization and secondary fertilization. Results:Compared with no fertilization, the growth of Eucalyptus grandis is the highest under secondary fertilization, which increase by 33.33%,62.61%&0.99%,respectively,with significant differences.Under the condition of the same total fertilizer application rate, the growth amount of Eucalyptus grandis is the highest when the secondary fertilizer was applied on the downhill slope, and the difference was extremely significant.Compared with the control(P fertilizer),Eucalyptus grandis(N-P-K:20%-7%-8%)showed the best growth in DBH and height, and the differences were extremely significant. Conclusion:When Eucalyptus grandis is applied in Guangdong province, secondary fertilization on downhill slope is more beneficial to increase the growth of Eucalyptus grandis without increasing the cost.
