群养猎豹的正强化行为训练

Positive Reinforcement Training of Captive Cheetahs(Acinonyx jubatus)in a Group Setting

2020年全年,太原动物园对8只群养猎豹(Acinonyx jubatus)进行了系统的正强化训练。依据群养个体相容性,将每2只猎豹个体分隔在1个笼舍中,仅由1名训练员就可以在40 min内完成对8只猎豹的全部训练内容,并可以有效减少训练时的个体干扰及攻击行为。对猎豹的训练项目、行为要求、使用口令、训练进度、训练目的等内容进行了总结,并讨论了群养个体在训练时的空间分隔、时间安排、如何减少食物争抢等训练要点,为圈养猎豹及其他物种的群养动物训练提供参考借鉴。

Throughout the year 2020,Taiyuan Zoo carried out a systematic positive reinforcement training for a cheetah(Acinonyx jubatus)group of eight individuals.Based on individual compatibility of the current group,this study found that separating two cheetahs in one cage could allow only one trainer to complete the entire training session of eight cheetahs in 40 minutes,and could effectively reduce individual interference and aggressive behavior during the training.This study summarized the training activities,behavior requirements,cues,shaping period and training purposes of the cheetahs,and further discussed the training highlights in a group setting,including such as how to separate individuals,set training schedule and reduce aggressive behavior when providing food reward,aiming to provide reference information for training practice for cheetah and other species in a group setting.
