Objective:To explore the effects of Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment and Tinidazole Sustained-release Film in the treatment of periodontitis and the occurrence of adverse reactions.Method:A total of 144 patients with periodontitis diagnosed and treated in the Second Hospital of Jingzhou from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as subjects, and grouped by random number table, the Minocycline group (n=72) was treated with Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment, and the Tinidazole group (n=72) was treated with Tinidazole Sustained-release Film. The total effective rate and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the Minocycline group was higher than that of the Tinidazole group (P<0.05);and the gingival crevicular fluid TNF-α,hs-CRP,IL-6,PGE_(2)levels in the Minocycline group after treatment were lower than the Tinidazole group (P<0.05);there were no significant differences in the incidence of papules, medication pain, loss of appetite, and overall adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).There were mild adverse reactions. Conclusion:In the drug treatment of periodontitis, the safety of topical Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment and Tinidazole Sustained-release Film is relatively high, and the curative effect of Minocycline Hydrochloride Ointment is more accurate and worthy of promotion.
