The beaded nest pattern is one of the most representative patterns in Chinese traditional patterns,which is the most common in ancient brocade.Under the concept of contemporary innovative sustainable design and the inheritance and development of traditional culture,the rich forms and profound historical details of traditional art have increasingly become the focus of modern dress design.This paper focuses on the application and expression techniques of the beaded nest pattern,using the method of literature recording,image,example demonstration and material data comparison,systematically summarizes and horizontally analyzes its artistic characteristics and constituent aesthetics,discusses the application and important role of the beaded nest pattern in the modern dress design,including the deconstruction,reconstruction techniques in the modern dress design,and how to skillfully integrate the elements of the beaded nest pattern with the modern dress design.The simple and traditional beaded nest pattern is integrated into the modern dress design,in order to realize the intersection of traditional art and modern design,and to create the modern dress design works with unique Chinese cultural characteristics.
