Design and Implementation of a RESTful Style Video Teaching Platform for Practical Training in Vocational Colleges

职业院校实训教学是培养学生职业技能的主要方式,为此设计RESTful风格的职教实训视频教学平台,该平台可提供可视化教学条件.平台整体架构采用业务分层、逻辑分块的设计思路,由表示层、业务逻辑层和数据访问层构成,包括服务管理、视频管理、系统管理三大功能模块,可录制和播放实训操作过程音视频并提供教学互动渠道,降低因视频文件数据量大对存储空间和网络带宽需求.

Practical training in vocational colleges is the main way to cultivate students’ vocational skills.A RESTful style video teaching platform for practical training is designed,which can provide visual teaching conditions.The overall structure of the platform,designed with the thought of business stratification and logic partitioning,is composed of three layers,namely the presentation layer,the business logic layer and the data access layer,including three function modules (i.e.service management,video management and system management).The platform can record and replay the audio and video files of the operation processes in training,provide teaching-learning interactive channels as well as reduce the quantity demand for storage space and network bandwidth caused by the gigantic video file data.
