数字化技术在软组织肉瘤新辅助治疗前后肿瘤退缩评估中的预测价值

Predictive value of digital technology in the evaluation of tumor regression after neoadjuvant therapy for soft tissue sarcoma

文章报道作者团队创新性地应用数字化技术对1例左髋部巨大胚胎型横纹肌肉瘤女性患者新辅助治疗前后肿瘤体积(GTV)进行评估,结果显示,数字化技术可清晰显示新辅助治疗前后软组织肉瘤肿瘤体积变化,可对肿瘤退缩进行有效评估,从而使手术成功保留了骨盆环,避免了半骨盆截肢,改善患者术后生活质量。

The article reports that the author’s team innovatively applied digital technology to evaluate the tumor volume(GTV)of a female patient with huge embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma of the left hip before and after neoadjuvant treatment.The resultsshowed that the digital technology can clear display soft tissue sarcomas tumor volume change before and after neoadjuvant therapy.The volume change can effectively evaluate the tumor retreat,so that the pelvic ring is preserved successfully in the operation,the semipelvic amputation is avoided,and the patient’s quality of life is improved.
