Wuwei is rich in local history curriculum resources.Teachers properly introduce familiar regional historical and cultural resources into senior middle school history teaching,which can not only stimulate students'interest in learning and deepen students'understanding of the content of teaching materials,but also help students better inherit their hometown culture and establish their feelings of home and country and cultural self-confidence.This paper summarizes the local historical and cultural resources in Wuwei,discusses the ways to develop the local historical and cultural resources in Wuwei,analyzes the application strategies of the local historical and cultural resources in the history classroom teaching in senior middle school,and points out that the principle of the development and utilization of the local historical and cultural resources is based on reality,class and students.
