摘要
[目的/意义]为了更加智能、有效地帮助用户在完成任务的过程中获取有用的信息,更好地理解真实任务场景下信息交互过程中用户的相关性判断及其变化模式,具有十分重要的意义。[方法/过程]文章以基于任务的信息交互模型为基础,利用兼具可控性和生态效度的田野实验方法,针对真实的课程论文写作任务,调查了信息交互过程不同阶段用户相关性判断所发生的变化,包括判断文献的相关性、判断信心、判断标准及其类别重要性等。[结果/结论]研究发现,从信息搜索到加工处理阶段,文献的相关性以及用户的判断信心均会发生渐进但显著的变化,且导致文献相关性发生变化的原因也是多方面的。仅有少数判断标准及标准类别的重要性在这两个阶段有显著差异。本研究不仅有利于增进对真实任务下信息交互过程的理解,同时有助于对用户信息素养教育和信息系统设计与开发提供一定的洞察和启发。
[Purpose/significance]In order to more effectively support users’intelligent information accessing during their task completion process,it is significant to better understanding users’relevance judgment and its change patterns during taskbased information interaction in real-life scenario.[Method/process]Based on the task-based information interaction model,this research utilizes a field experiment method with both high controllability and ecological validity,with the purpose of investigating different aspects of users’relevance judgment at different stages of information interaction process for course essay writing task.[Result/conclusion]It is found that both of users’perceived relevance and judgment confidence would gradually but significantly change from the stage of information search to the stage of working with information.This study further identifies various reasons causing the change of users’perception of document relevance.The study also finds that the importance of some judgment criteria,at individual and group level,is significantly different comparing the stages of information search and working with information.The conclusion can not only enhance our understanding of information interaction process in real-life scenario,but also provide sparkle insight for user information literacy education and information system development.
