Along with the advance of social science and technology,Internet technology has been widely applied to various fields of society,especially in urban lighting control system,the application of Internet technology makes the urban lighting system are fully play,implementation of effective supervision and management,the purpose of the lighting system in energy saving control for the city to provide technical support,It has certain social and economic benefits.This paper mainly from the Internet of things technology and the overview of Zigbee communication protocol,carries on the thorough analysis,and expounds in detail the Internet of things(IoT)technology in the application of urban lighting control system,in order to promote the performance of city lighting control system to provide the best technical support and guarantee,to improve urban night landscape and the residents’living standards.
