交通基础设施与区域经济增长——基于西部各省的研究

Transportation Infrastructure and Regional Economic Growth——A Research on Provincial Transportation Infrastructures

文章在综合考虑多种因素对西部地区经济增长的空间协同作用的基础上,讨论了交通基础设施是否能够促进西部地区经济增长,以及邻近地区交通基础设施对本地区经济增长是否存在空间溢出,研究发现:交通基础设施对区域经济发展存在显著的正向促进作用;外地交通基础设施对西部地区经济增长存在显著外溢影响,且效应为负。此外,研究还发现私人资本存量、城市化水平以及产业聚集等变量均对区域经济增长存在显著影响。

TConsidering the spatial cooperation effect exercised by various elements on western regional economy,the author discusses whether the construction of transportation infrastructures(hereinafter referred to as the former)can promote the economic growth of western regions(hereinafter referred to as the latter)and whether there is a spatial spillover brought by the construction of transportation infrastructures in neighbouring regions.The results show the former has a significant positive effect on the latter and the above mentioned spillover really exist and it is significantly negative.Meanwhile,variables such as private capital stock,urbanization level,industrial agglomeration make great impact on the latter.
