The construction and development of junior military schools has entered a new era,and must be given the significance and characteristics of the new era.In order to innovate and promote the research on the develop ment of the connotation and functions of junior military schools,based on the analysis of the construction and de velopment of junior military schools at home and abroad,this paper focuses on the significance of the construction of junior military schools in new era,and puts forward the main characteristics,core positioning and functions of junior military schools in new era,in order to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the construc tion of junior military schools in new era.
