Objective To explore the importance of internal reform of grass-roots food and drug inspection institutions.Methods Toanalyze the curent situation of grass-roots food and drug inspection institutions and their deficiencies in scientific research ability andemergency response ability,and to put forward some suggestions from the aspects of sampling centralization,team specialization andmanagement informatization.Results and Conclusion Through internal deepening reform,an inspection and testing team with exquistechnology,strong professionalism and high ability and quality would be established.
