观念与空间:跨国视域下观念的流动与变迁

Ideas and Space:The Flow and Changes of Ideas from a Transnational Perspective

空间是观念史研究的一个重要维度。随着历史研究中"跨国转向""全球转向"的兴起,人们愈发关注观念的流动以及观念在进入不同的空间时产生的种种与原初内涵迥异的变化。一方面,观念需要作出调整,以适应这一新的空间;另一方面,观念也会被这一新的空间加以改造。观念的流动性最终为观念带来一种混杂性,使之兼具原初语境和新语境的共同特征。研究观念与空间的关系,可以让我们认识到观念在迁移和挪用时所遭遇的各种复杂性和可能性,进而认识到观念在跨越空间的常态中也往往获得了更多创造性的潜能。

Space has become an important dimension in the study of the history of ideas in recent years.With the rise of the transnational turn and global turn in historical research,people are increasingly concerned with the flow of ideas and the changes that arise when they enter different spaces,with the changes being different from their original connotations.On the one hand,ideas need to be adapted to this new space;on the other hand,they will be transformed by this new space.The fluidity of ideas eventually brings hybridity to ideas,which combine the characteristics of both the original context and the new context.Studying the relationship between ideas and space allows one to recognize the various complexities and possibilities encountered when ideas are moved and appropriated,so that one can further realize that ideas can also acquire more creative potential in the normality of crossing the space.
