《龙文鞭影》作者新考

New Research on Author of The Whip and Spur

著名蒙学读物《龙文鞭影》题为萧良有纂辑,杨臣诤增订。据《龙文鞭影·原序》记载可知,该书是在萧良有《蒙养故事》基础上增订得来。《蒙养故事》即坊间流传的《四字经》,今无存本,明清书目也未见著录。细考萧良有生平、著述及《四字经》因袭关系和写作质量,可断定《四字经》乃托名萧良有之伪作。通过对《龙文鞭影》成书、刊刻等问题进行梳理辨析,笔者以为《龙文鞭影》应当题为杨臣诤作。

The title of the famous elementary school reading The Whip and Spur is compiled by Xiao Liangyou and revised by Yang Chenzheng.According to Yang Chenzheng’s original preface to the The Whip and Spur,the book is based on Xiao Liang’s Mengyang Gushi.However,according to the relevant data,there is no book named Mengyang Gushi written by Xiao Liangyou.It can be concluded that the story of Mengyang Gushi was not written by Xiao Liangyou.Through the textual research on the completion and publication of The Whip and Spur,the author thinks that The Whip and Spur should be titled as Yang Chenzheng’s work.
