《二如亭群芳谱》的基本内容及特点解读

《二如亭群芳谱》是明代王象晋万历末年罢官家居时所纂辑的一部有关植物栽培种植的著作.该书内容丰富,将作者大半生从书本和实践中得来的知识、经验、方法、技能等归纳整理,汇于一书,且着重讲述“百姓日用而不知者”,事无巨细,逐一道来.对每则名物的介绍,一般按照辨证物名、描述物形、讲授栽种等知识技能、说明植物实用价值、胪列典故丽藻等次序展开.该书从表面上看是将各种资料分门别类地编纂到一起,实则其内部存在着一个相对完整的体系,这一体系又与《周易》之间有着某种深度关联,它是依据《周易》的基本学说建构而成的.该书内容概括起来有三大特色,即实用性、知识性和趣味性.

Er Ru Ting Qun Fang Pu is a work about plant cultivation,written by Wang Xiangjin of MingDynasty.It was written when Wang was living at home after having left the official circles during the lastyears of Wanli.The book contains a lot of knowledge,experience,methods,skills,which wereaccumulated by the author from both books and practice during most of his life.When introducing eachitem,it follows the follwoing order:identifying the object name,describing the shape of the object,teaching knowledge and skills such as planting,illustrating the practical value of plants,and listing thestories,poetry and prose.It seems that all kinds of information are just arranged into different categories,yet in fact there is a relatively complete system lying beneath,which is closely connected with Zhouyi.That is to say,the book is constructed on the basic theory of Zhouyi.There are three main features withthe content,namely practicality,knowledge and interest.
