An Analysis of the Dilemma of Talent Selection in the Mid and Late Eastern Han Dynasty——Based on Qianfu Lun:Xian Nan

王符《潜夫论·贤难》通过梳理“贤难”的内涵及原因,揭露东汉中晚期“贤材”容易遭嫉妒迫害且难以被任用的人才选拔困境。“贤难”问题从深层次上反映了东汉中晚期国家和社会层面人才选拔的弊端,这也是东汉后期“选官危机”的具体表现之一。

The aim of Wang Fu’s Qianfu Lun:Xian Nan is to expose the dilemma of talent selection in the mid and late Eastern Han Dynasty,when talents,being the targets of jealousy and easily persecuted,are difficult to be appointed.The“dilemma of being a talent”reflects the defects of the selection of talents at the national and social levels in the mid and late Eastern Han Dynasty,which is one of the concrete manifestations of the crisis of official selection in the late Eastern Han.
