Capital Market Opportunities and Challenges on the Path to Carbon Neutrality

在碳中和愿景下,资本市场支持绿色产业的融资服务已经成为我国绿色金融的重要组成部分。本文总结了资本市场支持气候变化目标的相关国际经验,对我国资本市场的现状和问题进行综述和分析,并从强化信息披露、支持产品创新、提供政策激励等方面提出资本市场进一步支持碳达峰、碳中和的若干建议。

The capital market’s capacity to support green industry has become an important part of China’s green finance efforts and the nation’s objective of achieving carbon neutrality. This paper assesses the status of China’s capital market and summarizes international experience in providing capital market support for reaching climate change targets. It also provides suggestions on how the capital market can support Beijing’s "30-60" goals, from strengthening information disclosure to supporting product innovation and providing policy incentives.
