The School of Science and Sports at Brighton College defiesthe conventional character of educational buildings-one ofendless empty hallways and imposed silence-and instead com-bines the two departments to create a vibrant building withlively spaces where activities are not necessarily dictated bya school timetable.Observing that processes of learning takeplace outside as much as inside of the dassroom the designarticulates a new idea of educational space bolstering interaction and exchange.
