Sun Liping’s clinical experience in the treatment of pneumonia with dyspneic cough in children

孙丽平教授基于肺炎喘嗽之热、咳、痰、喘的临床特点,以热毒理论为基础把握肺炎喘嗽的核心病因病机,"热毒"为肺炎喘嗽的主要病因,痰为主要病理产物。对于风热闭肺证和痰热闭肺证,以清热解毒为法,临证处方以清肺饮和苈白饮为主。针对肺部啰音难消的症状,辨别啰音的类型,可使用疏风清热、化痰开闭之法。根据患儿体质特点辨选中药,注意护助后天之本脾胃,以达到良好的治疗效果。

Basing on the clinical characteristics of heat,cough,phlegm and dyspnea in pneumonia with dyspneic cough,Professor Sun Liping grasps its core etiology and pathogenesis on the basis of the theory of heat toxicity,taking heat toxin as its primary cause and phlegm as its main pathological product.She treats pneumonia with the wind-heat blocking the lung syndrome or the phlegm-heat blocking the lung syndrome with the method of clearing heat and removing toxicity,mainly using Qingfei Yin and Libai Yin to deal with the two syndromes.For pneumonia with the symptom of intractable rales,she first identifies its different types,then uses the methods of dispelling wind and clearing heat,dissipating phlegm for resuscitation.According to the physical characteristics of infantile patients,she chooses the proper Chinese drugs to protect and strengthen the spleen and stomach--the two acquired essences--so as to achieve a better therapeutic effect.
