Formation and Development of the CPC’s Concept of Disaster Reduction and Relief Since the Reform and Opening-up

减灾救灾是中国共产党治国理政的一项重要工作。改革开放以来,中国共产党以战略的眼光高度重视减灾救灾,在实践中探索形成了"以人民为中心"、人与自然和谐共生、重视发挥社会主义制度优势等一系列减灾救灾新思想、新理念,减灾救灾能力有了很大提高。要认真总结党领导减灾救灾工作的经验,不断促进中国共产党国家治理体系和能力的现代化。

Disaster reduction and relief is an important work of the CPC in governing the country.Since the reform and opening-up,the CPC has attached great importance to disaster reduction and relief from a strategic perspective.In practice,they have developed a series of new ideas and concepts on disaster reduction and relief,such as"putting the people first",harmonious coexistence between man and nature,and giving full play to the advantages of the socialist system,thus greatly improved their capacity for disaster reduction and relief.We should earnestly summarize the experience of the Party in leading disaster reduction and relief work and constantly promote the modernization of the state governance system and capacity of the CPC.
