朱德是马克思主义的坚定信仰者,长期担任党领导的人民军队的指挥者,他之所以能够在党中央的领导下指挥人民军队取得一个又一个的胜利,最终夺取全国政权,重要的原因之一,就是把马克思主义关于人民群众是历史的创造者的思想创造性地运用于革命战争实践,在毛泽东开辟的中国革命的正确道路上演出了"军民结合"的生动话剧。朱德提出的相信群众、关心群众、依靠群众的思想以及由此形成的政策措施,对党领导的武装斗争的最终胜利发挥了重要的作用,是对党的初心的鲜活阐释和真诚践行。

Zhu De was a firm believer in Marxism, a long-time commander of the people’s army under the leadership of the Party. One of the most important reason why he can command the people’s army to win victory after victory, ultimately win the national regime under the leadership of the people’s army command, is that he creatively applied the Marxist idea that the masses are the creators of history to the practice of the revolution and war, and then performed a vivid drama of "the combination of the military and the people" on the correct path of the Chinese revolution pioneered by Mao Zedong.
