An Analysis of Guan Zi’s Diplomatic Thoughts

管子是春秋时期著名的政治家,利用他的外交思想和理论,齐国快速崛起。从经济、军事、外交三个方面探讨管子外交中所采用的策略,以揭示齐国得以快速崛起并率先成为春秋霸主的原因,由此窥探《管子》所蕴含的谋略与智慧。

GuanZi, as a famous statesman in the Spring and Autumn Period, created conditions for the rapid rise of Qi with his diplomatic thoughts and theories. This article intends to discuss the strategies adopted in Guan Zi’s diplomatic tactics from three aspects of economy, military and diplomacy, in order to reveal the reason why Qi was able to rise quickly and become the first hegemon in the Spring and Autumn period. And thus to explore the strategy and wisdom contained in the book Guan Zi.
