新时期防震减灾科普教育工作的实践与展望——以5·12汶川特大地震纪念馆为例

Practice and Prospect of Science Popularization for Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction in the New Period:Taking the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Museum as an Example

我国是地震多发国家,党和政府把防震减灾工作逐步纳入国家战略,尤其是在“5·12”汶川特大地震后,防震减灾工作取得了显著进步和发展。5·12汶川特大地震纪念馆地震主题场馆,在新时期大力普及防震减灾知识,弘扬防震减灾科学精神,提高全民防震减灾科学素质方面做出了重要探索。通过研究5·12汶川特大地震纪念馆在防震减灾科普教育中的经验、做法,分析存在的发展短板,提出今后工作对策建议。

As China is an earthquake-prone country,the Party and Government have gradually incorporated the work of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction into the national strategy.While the impact of the“5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake”lasts today,the one silver lining is that the catastrophe has catalyzed improvements to China’s disaster management architecture.The 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Museum was built to popularize the knowledge,carry forward the scientific spirit,and improve the public awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in the new period.Based on its experience and practice,the paper analyzes the existing development shortcomings and proposes some countermeasures and suggestions for future work.
