自土耳其建国以来,地缘政治一直是政府开展外交活动、制定决策的重要考虑因素之一。自埃尔多安领导的正义与发展党执政以来,土耳其的国家安全与地区形势密切结合,"阿拉伯之春"后,更加积极介入中东、中亚以及非洲等地区的事务,强化土耳其地区影响力与话语权,力争成为重塑中东格局的领导者。利比亚既是打开非洲的北大门,也是受"阿拉伯之春"影响最严重的国家之一。埃尔多安政府不断深入推进双边政治、经济关系和军事援助。从地缘政治视角看,土耳其加强与利比亚关系的原因包括:以利比亚为支点,扩大土耳其在非洲的影响力;确保土耳其在东地中海海盆能源开采安全;推进"政治伊斯兰";向欧美证明土耳其的地区实力。
Since the establishment of Turkey,geopolitics has been one of the important factors for the government to conduct diplomatic activities and make decisions.Since Recep Tayyip Erdogan who leads Justice and Development Party(AKP)came to power,the national security has been closely connected with the regional situation.Since the“Arab Spring”,Turkey has become more actively involved in regional affairs in the Middle East,central Asia and Africa,in order to strengthen Turkey’s influence and strive to become a leader in the process of reshaping these areas.Libya is both the gateway to Africa and one of the countries most affected by the Arab Spring.The Erdogan government has continuously strengthened the relations between the two countries in terms of political,economic relations and military assistance.From the geopolitical perspective,the reasons behind Turkey’s strengthening relationship with Libya include:using Libya as a fulcrum to expand Turkey’s influence in Africa;ensuring the safety of Turkish energy exploration in the eastern Mediterranean basin;promoting the development of“Political Islam”and proving Turkey’s power to Europe and the US.
