At present,various industries in China are in the stage of rapid development.The acceleration of economic development has brought serious pollution to the ecological environment and affected people’s daily life and work.In order to effectively change this situation,relevant departments should gradually improve the management level of environmental pollution prevention and control,formulate scientific and reasonable management measures,and apply environmental protection big data to specific work.Taking environmental protection big data as the core,this paper briefly expounds the significance of applying environmental protection big data and the key points of environmental pollution prevention and management,and puts forward some effective application measures,hoping to help relevant departments,optimize the ecological environment and create a good living environment for people.
