In 2022, the new shipbuilding market is likely to continue the heat of the past year. The industry needs to focus on two aspects: the first is the performance of the relatively flat tanker in 2021, whether there will be new bright spots, gas carriers and container ships can continue to deal heat;the second, whether steel prices can fall back to a more rational level, or the profitability of shipping enterprises can be improved. On the whole, the industry has a strong expectation that the global new shipbuilding market will continue to strengthen in 2022. The major factors affecting the cost such as raw material and equipment prices will be relatively high, and the volume and price will maintain a double rising trend.
