注释与译者情感的建构--以施友忠《文心雕龙》英译本为例

Construction of Translator's Emotions by Annotation:A Case Study of Vincent Yu-chung Shih's English Version of Wenxin Diaolong

注释与译者的情感关系一直无人关注,实际上注释作为一种副文本可以建构译者的情感。通过注释,施友忠表明了自己对民族文化形象和民族文化输出的态度,建构了自己的民族情感;化解了读者中心和译者中心的矛盾,发挥了译者的主体作用,照顾了读者的阅读需求,彰显了译者对自我与他者的态度,建构了自己的个人情感;调节了因语言和文化因素造成的审美距离,保留了原作的异质特色,再现了原作的风格,在审美偏移和审美调节中建构了自己的审美情感。对注释与译者情感关系的研究,有利于揭示译者主体性的本质,提升翻译质量,提高译文的接受度,有助于中国文化走出去。

The emotional relationship between annotation and translator has been ignored so far.In fact,annotation,as a paratext,helps construct the translator’s emotions.Through annotation,Vincent Yu-chung Shih shows his attitude towards the national cultural image and the output of national culture,constructs his own national emotions.Through annotation,he resolves the contradiction between reader-center and translator-center,plays the translator’s main role,takes care of readers’reading needs,highlights the translator’s attitude towards the self and the other and constructs his own personal emotions.Through annotation,he regulates the aesthetic distance caused by language and cultural factors,retains the heterogeneous characteristics of the original,reproduces the style of the original,and constructs its own aesthetic emotions in aesthetic deviation and aesthetic adjustment.The study of the relationship between annotation and translator’s emotions is helpful to reveal the essence of translator’s subjectivity,improve the quality and the acceptability of translation,and help Chinese culture go global.
