珠江—西江经济带FDI与环境规制对绿色全要素生产率的影响——基于空间溢出效应和门槛效应的实证研究

Effects of FDI and Environmental Regulations on GTFP in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt:An Empirical Study Based on Spatial Spillover Effect and Threshold Effect

使用珠江-西江经济带2012-2018年面板数据,运用空间溢出和门槛效应模型实证检验FDI、环境规制对绿色全要生产率的具体影响。空间溢出模型研究结果显示,现阶段珠江-西江经济带绿色全要素生产率存在空间溢出效应;FDI有利于提高GTFP,但环境规制与FDI的交互项在整体上对GTFP的发展起到抑制作用;由门槛效应可知,FDI存在双重门槛。当FDI处于中低水平状态时,环境规制的实施整体上不利于绿色全要素生产率的发展,当FDI达到足够高的水平时,环境规制政策实施才会促进GTFP的提升。环境规制也存在双重门槛效应,当实施相适应的环境规制政策时,FDI对GTFP水平的促进作用最明显,但当环境规制跨过适宜水平的门槛值,处于高强度实施状态时,则不利绿色全要素生产率的发展。

Spatial spillover effect and threshold effect models are applied to analyze the panel data of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt in the seven years from 2012 to 2018 to test the specific impact of foreign direct investment(FDI)and environmental regulations on green total factor productivity(GTFP)in the area.The spatial spillover model analysis shows that there is spatial spillover effect in the GTFP of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt at the present stage.FDI is conducive to improving GTFP,but the interaction between environmental regulations and FDI inhibits the development of GTFP in general.The threshold effect analysis indicates that FDI has double threshold effects.When FDI is low,to implement environmental regulations is not conducive to the development of GTFP as a whole.However,when FDI reaches a high level,the result is just the opposite.Double threshold effect is also found in environmental regulations.When the environmental regulations are appropriate and rational,FDI has the most significant positive effect on GTFP.However,when environmental regulations are too intensive and strict,FDI is not conducive to the development of GTFP.
