The discussion was launched from the quality problems encountered in the inner surface coating of the ship’s hatch cover. The growth conditions and hazards of the coating mold were introduced and the location and reason of the mold growth on the inner surface coating of the hatch cover were analyzed. The selection of coating matching schemes and the research direction of moldproof coatings were further explored,which provided reference for coating designers and the research workers of moldproof coatings.
