摘要
德国汉学家顾彬强调翻译即是译者在不同时代语境下对原作的意义解释,这是他在翻译中国古代典籍时的主导思想。顾彬采用了翻译加评论的模式批判性地重释道家著作《庄子》。顾彬将文本翻译和哲学讲解结合起来,在比较哲学的框架下解读庄子其人、其作及其思想,目的是构建中国哲学和德国哲学之间的互文关系,从而赋予中国古代思想以跨文化的现实意义。
The German sinologist Wolfgang Kubin emphasizes that translation is the translator’s interpretation of the meaning of the original work in a different context of the times,which is his dominant idea in translating ancient Chinese texts.Kubin adopts a translation-plus-commentary model to critically reinterpret the Taoist work Zhuangzi.Combining translation of the text with philosophical exposition,Kubin interprets Zhuangzi himself,his works,and his thought within the framework of comparative philosophy,with the aim of constructing intertextuality between Chinese and German philosophy,thus giving cross-cultural relevance to ancient Chinese thought.
