女性高管能够促进企业碳管理战略选择吗?——来自中国八大高碳行业的证据 被引量:1

Can Female Executives Encourage Companies to Choose Carbon Management Strategy?——Evidence from Eight Carbon-intensive Industries in China

摘要 基于2016—2018年中国八大高碳行业上市公司数据,运用内容分析法将企业碳管理战略分为碳补偿、碳减排、碳独立三种,并检验女性高管对企业碳管理战略的影响。研究发现,女性高管与企业碳管理战略呈显著的正相关关系,并且市场化程度具有显著的正向调节作用。进一步研究发现,女性高管对企业具体碳管理战略选择的影响有差异,女性高管与碳补偿战略和碳减排战略显著正相关,但与碳独立战略不相关;在非国有企业中,女性高管与企业碳管理战略之间的正相关关系更显著。 The study investigates the relationship between female executives and corporate carbon management strategies based on a sample of Chinese publicly listed firms in eight carbon-intensive industries from 2016 to 2018.By way of content analysis method,corporate carbon management strategies are categorized into carbon compensation,carbon reduction and carbon independence.It is found that female executives are positively related to corporate carbon management strategies and document a significant positive moderating effect of the degree of marketization.Further research finds differences in the impact of female executives on the choice of specific corporate carbon management strategies.And female executives have a positive impact on carbon compensation strategy and carbon reduction strategy,but play no role in carbon independence strategy.The positive relationship between female executives and corporate carbon management strategy is more significant in non-state owned enterprises.
