浅析当代红色文化景观规划设计——以嘉兴南湖为例

Analysis of Contemporary Red Cultural Landscape: Case Study of Landscape Planning in the Peripheral Areas of Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing

作为纪念性景观中的一种设计类型,红色文化景观因其独特的政治性、时代性而具有重要的社会价值和教育意义。红色文化纪念的目的不应局限于纪念本身,嘉兴南湖周边区域景观的规划设计,尝试探讨了红色文化景观的规划策略和设计方法:在深入研究南湖红色文化精神内涵和时代背景的基础上,宜将革命历史遗存结合周边整体环境和地域文化特色进行一体化的规划与展示;在规划设计中体现红色文化精神的时代性与面向未来的引领性;而具体设计手法则探索新方法、新技术,使展示更具吸引力。

The existing studies on red cultural landscape, which is a branch of monumental landscape, are mainly carried out from the angles such as design method and expressive pattern of landscaping, neglecting discussion on the spiritual connotation of landscaping and mission of the times. This article, therefore, underscores two noteworthy aspects in the course of planning and design for red cultural landscape.(1) Digging of the spiritual connotation of red culture. That means to interpret and analyze the commemorative stories and significance of red culture from the perspectives of time and space, as well as keeping the commemoration politically oriented and up-to-date when observing the late revolutionaries and events.(2) Presentation of the present-day mission of the red cultural landscape. We should coordinate the protection and utilization of red cultural resources with the natural environment and urban development, so as to integrate the spiritual connotation of red culture into the life of local residents. The existing problems, such as repeated homogeneous demonstrations and the lack of appeal to younger visitors, should be addressed, so as to give full play to the landscape as the material medium to display the charm of red culture and to disseminate red spirit.This article carries out the analysis from the two levels of theoretical methods and hands-on projects. The definition and geographical features of red cultural landscape are first sorted out based on theoretical study and literature reviews in this field, so that the research range and work priority of red cultural landscape can be fixed. Meanwhile, with the reference to cases of monumental landscape at home and abroad, the sophisticated design methods and display modes in the course of planning and design are concluded and drawn from the study on the spiritual connotation, physical space and exhibition methods of red cultural landscape. Then, taking the practical experience in landscape planning around the peripheral areas of Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing City as the clue, we attempt to put forth a corresponding thinking pattern and summary of methodology for the planning and design of red cultural landscape that is of enormous educational significance and involves relatively complicated design conditions.(1) We should make an integrated planning and display that combines the historic revolutionary relics with the holistic surroundings and the local cultural features;(2) we should demonstrate the red cultural landscape’s contemporaneity and its trailblazing spirit that heads into the future;and(3) we should apply new methods and the latest techniques in specific designs, so as to render the exhibition more attractive.
