Features and Application of Fire Extinguishing Equipment in Ship’s Engine Room

文章对油火和电气设备火灾的起因和特点分别进行了分析,总结了舰艇机舱常用灭火装备的功能和优缺点,并在此基础上,从灭火战术的角度分析了舰艇机舱灭火装备的应用。机舱灭火装备的应用应当从硬件资源与舰艇的人力资源有机结合的角度考虑,最大化发挥有限的舰艇灭火资源。

Causes and characteristics of oil fires and electrical equipment fires are analyzed. Based on summarizing the functions, advantages and disadvantages of fire extinguishing equipment in ship engine rooms, the application of engine room fire extinguishing equipment are analyzed from the perspective of fire-fighting tactics. The application of engine room fire-fighting equipment should be considered from the perspective of the organic combination of hardware resources and ship’s human resources, so as to maximize the limited ship’s fire-fighting resources.
