本文分析了时间概念,讨论了物理时间、形而上时间和人文时间各自的有效性。着重研究了人文时间的多种时态,特别是意识时态和历史性时态,论述了"古今"概念与"作"(创制)概念何以化时间为历史以及在定义历史性上的决定性意义,并且说明了中国的形而上学和历史哲学的一致性。

While analyzing the concept of time,this paper expounds the respective effectiveness of physical time,metaphysical time and humane time.Special attention is given to the study of multiple tenses of humane time,especially conscious tense and historic tense.Furthermorlie,it illuminates the ways in which the concepts of the ancient and modern times,along with the concept of making(creation),transform time into history,and their decisive role in the definition of historic significance.Thus,it clarifies the unity of Chinese metaphysics and philosophy of history.
