"卍"字符是一个在世界上许多国家、地区和民族中广泛存在的图像符号,也是佛教的瑞相符号,表吉祥、光明之意。以"卍"字符历史发展的三个重要阶段,即远古时期的象征符号、佛教融合发展期的宗教符号,以及泛世俗化时期的装饰符号为节点,探讨其在不同时期美学意蕴的发展流变,分析其世界性、本土性特征中的人类情感和生命形式,从而揭示蕴含于其中的朴素之美、光明之美和世俗之美。

The Swastika character is an image character widely existing in many countries, regions and nationalities in the world, and it is also a symbol of good luck and bright in Buddhism.Originated in ancient times, it gradually became one of the most representative religious symbolic character of Buddhism in the process of gradually merging with Buddhism.Later the Swastika character entered secular life from the religious field and became a decorative symbol in daily life.The three important stages of the development of the Swastika character are the symbolic stage of the ancient times, the religious symbolic stage of the Buddhism’s emerging and developing period, and the decorative symbolic stage of the pan-secularization period.This paper discusses its development and evolution of aesthetical implication in different periods, analyzes the human emotion and life form in its universal and local characteristics, and explores the simple beauty, the bright beauty and the secular beauty contained therein.
