In the current primary school music teaching, information technology is an auxiliary teaching tool popular by teachers and students, and it has gradually been fully applied in classroom teaching. With the help of network resources, multimedia software, etc., the music classroom and information technology are fully integrated, which can completely break through the constraints of traditional teaching mode in terms of time and space, and create an immersive teaching atmosphere for students. In this regard, this article explores the practical application of information technology to assist primary school music teaching through four aspects, hoping to provide help and reference for the majority of primary school music teachers.
