As an important tool of water transportation,ships play a vital role in transportation.In order to ensure the safety of ship transportation,in the process of the development of ship enterprises,it is bound to check ship mechanical faults and maintain them regularly,so as to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents.Once the ship breaks down during operation,it will not only have a certain impact on the ship operation,but also endanger the lives of the crew.This paper analyzes the common mechanical faults in ship inspection,studies the importance of ship equipment fault diagnosis,analyzes some common faults in the operation of ship mechanical equipment,and puts forward corresponding treatment methods,so as to provide some reference for the normal operation of ship equipment.
