新工科背景下“汽车理论”课程全英文教学探索

Exploration of Teaching the Course of Automobile Theory in English under the Background of“Emerging Engineering Education”

人才的培养离不开合理的教育体系,国际化人才的培养更需要高水平的英文教学。现代高等教育逐渐朝国际化趋势发展,全英文教学方式是教育国际化的重要一环。实现全英文教学并非易事,须结合实际情况、选择科学可行的策略和方法。以东南大学开设的本科生“汽车理论”课程为例,结合实践教学分析全英文教学实现的必要条件,挖掘授课中的潜在问题,从教学目标、教材选择、教学内容、教学方法、教学反馈、多元化考核六方面,探索新工科背景下全英文教学的有效方案。

A good education system is necessary for talent cultivation,and high-level English teaching is also indispensable in training modern talents with international vision.Modern higher education is gradually developing in the direction of internationalization.Therefore,English teaching is an important part in this process.It is not easy to implement English teaching,and scientific strategies and feasible methods have to be selected according to the actual situation.This paper presents a case study of the undergraduate course of Automobile Theory offered in Southeast University.The necessary requirements and the potential problems in English teaching are pointed out based on the practical teaching.A comprehensive summary is provided in this paper from the aspects of the teaching objectives,the teaching materials,the teaching contents,the teaching methods,and the teaching feedback in the process of exploring efficient solutions to English teaching of the course under the background of“emerging engineering education”.
