广西忻城县马泗锰矿床地质特征及找矿方向

Geological characteristics and prospecting direction of Masi manganese deposit in Xincheng County of Guangxi

马泗锰矿是广西近年来在桂中地区新发现的中型海相沉积锰矿床。矿床位于宜州—忻城早石炭世龙头锰成矿带的东南部,赋矿层位为下—上石炭统巴平组,赋矿岩石为深色薄层微晶灰岩、硅质灰岩。矿石类型主要为碳酸锰矿石。在分析矿床成矿地质特征、控矿因素及矿床成因的基础上,指出了马泗矿区及其外围找矿潜力,为该区的进一步找矿工作提供思路。

Masi manganese deposit is a medium scale marine sedimentary manganese deposit newly discovered at the central area of Guangxi in recent years.The deposit is located at the southeast part of the Longtou manganese ore belt of Early Carboniferous epoch in Yizhou-Xincheng area.The orebodies are hosted in the Baping Formation of the Lower-Upper Carboniferous series.The ore-bearing rocks are dark thin-layered microcrystalline limestone and siliceous limestone.The main ore type is manganese carbonate ore.Based on the analysis of the ore-forming geological characteristics,ore-controlling factor and the deposit genesis,this article has discussed the prospecting potential in Masi mining area and its surrounding areas.The research provides an idea for the further prospecting work in the central area of Guangxi.
