This paper expounded the urgency of energy conservation and environmental protection under carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy,and pointed out the wide application prospect of ORC cycle(organic Rankine cycle)power generation technology in waste heat power generation.Finally,taking the engineering project as an example,it deeply analyzed the important role of this power generation technology in carbon peak and carbon neutrality,which provides support for taking energy conservation and environmental protection measures in the next step.
