摘要
间皮-间充质转化(MMT)是一类发生于胸膜、腹膜等间皮细胞的Ⅱ型上皮-间充质转化(EMT),在腹透致腹膜纤维化等过程中发挥重要作用。近年来,越来越多的研究表明MMT在胃癌、结直肠癌和卵巢癌等恶性肿瘤的发生和转移过程中也具有重要功能,但是目前对这一独特的病理类型在恶性肿瘤进展中的作用及分子机制尚未阐明。本文针对间皮的结构和功能、MMT在恶性肿瘤中的作用及机制的研究进展进行综述。
Mesothelial-to-mesenchymal transition(MMT),a typeⅡepithelial-to-mesenchymal transition occurring in pleural and peritoneal mesothelium,plays a vital role in procedures like peritoneal dialysis-induced fibrosis.In recent years more and more researches show MMT is also of great importance in the development and metastasis of malignant tumors such as gastric,colorectal,ovarian cancers,and so on.However,the role and molecular mechanism of this unique pathological process in malignancies have not yet been clarified.This review summarizes the structure and function of the mesothelium,as well as the effect of MMT in malignancies,hoping to provide a glimpse into the future of tumor treatment.
