机器翻译过程中词汇层面的译前编辑方法

A study of pre-editing methods at the lexical level in the process of machine translation

对机器翻译过程中译前编辑的有效性缺乏客观评价的问题进行研究,提出了基于词汇层面的译前编辑方法。以Google在线翻译为工具,采用双语评估替换方法(Bilingual Evaluation Understudy,BLEU),测量译前编辑之前与之后的机器翻译结果与参考译文的相似度。对比结果表明,词汇的增补、删减、替代和术语提前等译前编辑方法能够提高机器英汉翻译译文质量。

The insufficiency of objective evaluation for the effectiveness of pre-editing machine translation is studied.With Google online translation as the tool,Bilingual evaluation understudy is adopted to measure the similarity between the machine translation and the reference translation results before and after pre-editing.It turns out that adding,omitting,replacing and terminology preprocessing can improve the quality of E-C machine translation.
