In the new century,the study on Lao She’s humorous style has made remarkable achievements,which can be roughly divided into the study of creation,the study of formation and development,and the comparative study.The study of creation is based on Lao She’s humorous text and humor theory,as well as the resulting multiple values.The study of formation and development traces the origin and historical experience of Lao She’s humor and outlines its development path.The Comparative study focuses on the similarities and differences between Lao She’s humor and other domestic and foreign writers,so as to highlight the characteristics of Lao She’s humor.All these achievements are helpful to understand Lao She’s unique artistic style of humor.At the same time,there are still some deficiencies in the current study,which need the continuous efforts of new and old scholars to promote the study to make more breakthroughs and progress.
